The manager and his wife will not hesitate to chase you off the station and will use force to ensure that you do not enter any part of this station. This is not a place to casually visit. Check with the Police station in Charters Towers before you go there and inform them of your intention to visit. Further, you may wish to seek advice from others in the cattle industry prior to accepting work at this place. Exercise extreme caution in any dealings with these people. If any attempt is made by Southwick West employees to stop your vehicle on the main road passing through this station, do not stop under any circumstances.
